The Prydain Chronicles
I added one of my favorite series in my library here in Vox--the Prydain Chronicles. Eee, love love. I've also been working on the fanlisting for it, and I scanned my (sadly very old) book covers for it as well. It's sadly unknown, but I had fun doing this. Especially since the fanlisting for Taran and Eilonwy has long been due a revamp. :p
Sigh, reading it gives me a warm fuzzy feeling. ♥ The above editions aren't ones I have, but omg they are so shiny! (Well, the cover for the High King is, for some reason, not the one in line with the rest of the series, although I did see it on Amazon already. *sporks Amazon*)
And I feel somewhat frustrated with Vox because I am such a control freak when it comes to posts and stuff, and I can't do everything I want to do on the post. :p Oh well, I guess you have to give up some sort of control for this sort of prettiness, eh?
Comments
Random comment about Prydain covers: I picked up The Book of Three AGES ago, when I was in seventh grade, and it had this beautiful cover that I really adored.
Years later I decided it was time to buy another one and for no good reason I got The High King, and it's cover matched mine. But then when I went to get the middle three, I couldn't find that printing! They'd reprinted them in the meantime, and now I've managed to snag the second and fourth book, but I still don't have a nice matching Castle of Llyr. Sadness for Meiran.
Eee, that is a smallish pet peeve of mine, when books in a series don't match the rest. It's one reason why I STILL haven't read the last Dark Tower book, poo. So I'm very picky and would usually not buy a book in a series if it's not in the same edition/printing. :O Bad Angela!
I'm the same way, lol. And, I'm sad to say, I haven't read these yet! I've always wanted to; somehow I've just never got round to it. I have so many books on my to-read list! Thanks for posting them, Angela. :)
